Tobias Zywietz, ein bekannter Sammler der Briefmarken und Postgeschichte von Palästina, hat ein neues Bulletin in englischer Sprache ins Leben gerufen, "The Middle East Philatelic Bulletin" und die erste Ausgabe wurde gerade fertig gestellt. Tobias ist auch der Editor des Magazins. Es kann kostenlos von der Internetseite von Tobias heruntergeladen werden.

Super, besten Dank für den Link! Selbst für den (Noch-) Nichtsammler dieser philatelistischen Gebiete macht das Lesen richtig Spass und macht Lust auf Mehr! Diese Art der offenen Plattform für Veröffentlichungen sollte der Wegweiser für alle Spezialvereinigungen und AGs in die Zukunft werden werden. Das Editorial des Herausgebers Tobias Zywietz, siehe den Auszug von Seite 114 [1], trifft den Punkt so passgenau, besser geht es kaum noch! Ich wünschte alle unsere AGs würden diese Art der offenen "Öffentlichkeitsarbeit" im Netz so verfolgen, ich glaube dann würde es vielen - auch hinsichtlich der Begeisterung möglicher neuer (inner- und außerhalb der Philatelie angesiedelten) Interessenten - Gruppen besser gehen. Eine neue philatelistische Zeitschrift als kostenloser PDF-Download Die althergebrachten philatelistischen Organisationsformen (Ortsverein und Forschungs- oder Motiv-Arbeitsgemeinschaft) verlieren seit Jahren Mitglieder, können Vorstandsposten nur noch mit Mühe oder überhaupt nicht mehr besetzen, lösen sich gar auf - aber auf der anderen Seite existieren tausende begeisterte Sammler und unter ihnen auch viele Philatelisten, die bisher nicht in diese Vereine gefunden haben , und im Zeitalter des Internets auch nicht an die Notwendigkeit derselben glauben. Ich selber bin Mitglied von acht Argen und in den meisten auch als Autor regelmäßig aktiv. Diese Argen sind historisch gewachsen und verbinden viele tausend Philatelisten und leisten wichtige Aufgaben bei Forschung und Veröffentlichung. Viele Argen haben kaum mehr als 50-60 Mitglieder, und davon sind meist nur eine Handvoll wirklich aktiv. Die Mitgliederzeitschriften sind allesamt von hoher Qualität, jeder Verein werkelt aber in seinem kleinen 'Abteil', und die Autoren kann man oft an einer Hand abzählen. Meine Zeitschrift Middle East Philatelic Bulletin will daher eine Brücke spannen zwischen diesen alten und den neuen, informellen Strukturen: Webseiten, Internet-Foren, Newsgroups, Facebook-Gruppen, u.s.w. Es geht mir um das Miteinander nicht das Gegeneinander. Das Middle East Philatelic Bulletin ist daher als eine kostenlose Zeitschrift, die als PDF-Datei heruntergeladen werden kann, konzipiert – ohne Registrierung oder sonstige Verpflichtung. Jürgen Glietsch zum provisor. italien. Feldpoststempel in Smyrna vor. Rainer Fuchs über die Marken des Königreichs Kurdistan. T. Zywietz recherchiert zum alten Hauptpostamt von Jerusalem. @ zobbel Danke für Dein "Middle East Philatelic Bulletin", auch wenn das alles zu 99% nicht mein Gebiet ist, mir fehlt "Tagaktuelles", lese ich die Ausgaben sehr gerne ;-) Das Trauerspiel "Saudi-Vignetten?" war sehr interessant, ähnliches ist mir die Tage in Ägypten auch passiert, nur fand dort "nur" keiner mehr Briefmarken auf dem Hauptpostamt von Hurghada, der Provinzhauptstadt des Red Sea Gouvernement, erst der herbeigerufene Chef kam nach zig Minuten mit ein paar irgendwo noch gefundenen Marken daher ;-) Wobei die dann eingeworfenen Postkarten bis heute nirgendwo angekommen sind - seit Dezember. ;-) Beste Grüße Thomas [Redaktionell verschoben aus dem Thema "DBZ 8/2024 Deutsche Briefmarken Zeitung mit Zustellungsproblemen"]
